Jean Hartford-Todd is been a child life specialist at Duke University Health System, starting on in-patient pediatric units in 1986. In 1996 she began working with adult neuro-oncology patients focusing on the needs of children and teens who have a parent with cancer. In 2013 Jean joined the Duke Cancer Patient Support Program where she offers psycho-educational support services to all adult oncology patients treated at the Duke Cancer Center related to the needs of children and teens in the family. At Duke, Jean is also co-director of KidsCan! a support program for children and teens who have a parent with cancer.
